Secondly, what may be “the best” for one website may not be the same for yours. Every website has its own special needs and you need to find the company that gives it to you.
Stay away from companies that utilize black hat techniques or anything illegal or damaging to the integrity of your website, for that matter. In order to do this you must be fully aware of these bad techniques and be quick to spot them.
And then you should keep in mind that SEO is a long process. Expect efficient companies to present their promised results in three to six months. Any website that promises less than a month or has no period at all in terms of getting maximum results is not worth looking into.
Your website is your own endeavor. You want it to grow and be successful. Don’t leave something so precious into the hands of anything that will tend to keep it from growing or ruin it at that.
