Patience with SEO is a must

So many people ask this question: how long does it take for SEO to return results? The answer: There really isn’t any – at least not a definite one in terms of time frames. But one thing’s for sure – they don’t happen overnight. Here are some reasons why:

1. Engines need time to crawl sites. That’s why they called it crawling, not running. Updating billions of websites isn’t exactly a picnic. Some get it in 3-4 days, some get it in a month. You just have to understand.

2. Link partners need time as well. Not everybody gets smacked with your latest widget or update the moment you upload it. The guys that work on the other side are people too, and what they do takes time.

3. You don’t get noticed overnight. Attracting links isn’t easy. It takes a lot of building and expansion, just like any other honest trade (though SEO is relatively faster).

So understand that SEO isn’t a one-time thing. Stick with it and be patient because it’ll all be worth the wait.
